A compact three-day itinerary for travelers entering Turkmenistan via the Shavat border crossing. Following a meeting with your guide, the journey continues through the Karakum desert to the legendary Darvaza gas crater, where guests will enjoy the sunset, dinner in the camp, and an overnight stay in a yurt or tent. On the following day, the route leads to Ashgabat — the white-marble capital of Turkmenistan. The program includes the city's primary monuments, evening illuminations and, flight time permitting, a visit to ancient Nisa and the Carpet Museum. The tour concludes with a transfer to Ashgabat International Airport.

One night in a yurt-tent camp near the Darvaza crater and one night in a 3★–5★ hotel in Ashgabat. The hotel provides rooms with private bathrooms; the camp features shared facilities.

Good to Know
The route involves a long drive through the desert, occasionally over uneven terrain. It is recommended to bring comfortable closed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and warm clothing for the evening at Darvaza. Please be prepared for simple conditions during the desert camp overnight stay.
